NEHANDA LINDSEY, MS, MIB, CMP serves as Director of Program Strategy at CommonHealth ACTION (CHA) and provides day-to-day management for the organization’s major programs and communications activities. Ms. Lindsey’s project portfolio includes providing technical assistance to trans-disciplinary, community-based teams participating in the Joint Center’s Place Matters Initiative through conducting site visits, designing adult learning experiences, and facilitating trainings and group processes. In addition, she has helped to create products for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), specifically the Childhood Obesity Manual, the HIV Pastoral Brief and Activity Manual for Faith Leaders, and Misplaced Priorities Toolkit. Ms. Lindsey manages CHA’s major events, as well as the associated continuing education processes. She has supported and managed events of up to 3,000 attendees for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Association of County and City Health Officials, the Department of Education, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.Ms. Lindsey earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and her master’s degree in International Business from Florida International University.
